The standard

How our clinical partner checks its providers' licenses, and how it pays them, is published here once we hold it in writing. Until then we make no claim about either.
The review
Your medical history is taken in the visit itself, and the provider decides on what you tell them there — not on the questions you answered before checkout.
Rather than assume. In a video visit, they ask you directly.
Prescribes if it's appropriate, declines with a reason if it isn't, and refers you to in-person care when that is the right answer.
Clinical oversight
Approval pendingApproving the health questions this site asks, the rules that stop a visit, and the wording of every decline is our medical director’s job. His signed approval is not on file yet, and until it is, this site does not call them approved.
The medical director does not consult with patients here and does not review individual visits. Your visit is read by a provider licensed in your state.

The consultation is the only part you pay for a no: the medication portion is refunded automatically if it isn't prescribed. Nothing is charged that you didn't see priced first.
