Questions
Will I definitely be cleared?
No. The clinician decides, on your history and the procedure you describe, and may decline to clear you — in pregnancy, with an active infection at the treatment area, or where a medical condition is not under control, for example. If that happens they tell you why. The visit fee covers the clinician's review either way, and nothing further is charged.
Does this get me a GLP-1 prescription?
No. This visit clears you for a programme run by another clinic; it prescribes nothing. If you are looking for medication from us, that is a different visit, on the weight-loss pages.
Do I need this at all?
Only if the clinic performing your procedure asks for a good-faith exam and does not provide one itself. Many clinics arrange it as part of the booking; ask them first, and if they do, you don't need this visit.
Is this a treatment or a prescription?
Neither. Nothing is prescribed or dispensed, and the visit does not perform or book the procedure. What you receive is documentation of the clinician's decision to pass to your clinic.
How it works
A good-faith exam is a medical visit, not a treatment. A licensed clinician takes your history — medical conditions, medications and supplements, allergies, pregnancy status, prior reactions to similar treatments — screens for the contraindications specific to a GLP-1 weight-management programme, reviewed without lab work, and IV or IM nutrient therapy, answers your questions, and confirms you understand what the procedure involves and have consented to it. The outcome is documented for the clinic performing the procedure. In many states a clinician's clearance is required before certain aesthetic or wellness treatments can be delegated to a nurse or aesthetician, and it is normally ordered by that clinic; this is the same visit, done online. Nothing is prescribed or dispensed, and the visit does not perform, book or recommend the procedure itself.

- The clinic performing your procedure has asked for a good-faith exam and accepts one done online
- You can name the exact procedure you are having and who is performing it
- You have your medical history, current medications and any prior reactions to similar treatments to hand
It won’t be prescribed if
- Pregnancy, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding — a hard stop for GLP-1 therapy, whoever prescribes it
- A personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, or a history of pancreatitis — hard stops for any GLP-1 programme
- An active infection, fever or acute illness the programme should wait out
- Kidney disease, heart failure or a known G6PD deficiency — fluid, electrolyte and high-dose vitamin loads need the clinician's judgment first
- Uncontrolled medical conditions — uncontrolled diabetes or blood pressure, a bleeding disorder, an autoimmune condition in flare, or a diagnosis your own doctor is still working up
These are the same checks your provider runs in the visit. If one applies, they will tell you plainly — and the medication portion of what you paid comes back automatically.

Check with the clinic performing the procedure that it needs an outside clearance and will accept ours. Many clinics arrange the good-faith exam themselves; if yours does, you don't need this visit.
The visit
A licensed clinician reviews your history, medications and allergies, screens for the contraindications specific to your procedure, and confirms you understand it and have consented. Have the procedure name and the clinic's details ready.
After
You receive the documented outcome to pass to your clinic. If the clinician does not clear you, they tell you why. The fee covers the clinician's review either way, and nothing further is charged.

None from the visit itself: no medication is prescribed or dispensed here, so there is nothing to react to. The risks of the procedure belong to the procedure, and the clinic performing it is responsible for explaining them. A clearance is a review of whether you are an appropriate candidate, not a substitute for that conversation.
