- Your provider decides which strength, if any, is appropriate for you. If they prescribe a lower strength than the one you paid for, we refund the difference automatically. If they prescribe a higher strength, we ask you to approve the difference in price before the higher-strength order can move forward, and nothing more is charged without your approval. If you decline, we ask your provider to review whether the strength you paid for is appropriate; if they do not prescribe it, the item is not sent and the medication portion is refunded.

Compounded tirzepatide is prepared for you by a licensed compounding pharmacy in our clinical partner's network and is not FDA-approved. It is not a brand-name or generic product, and the FDA has not reviewed it for safety, effectiveness or quality. A provider may prescribe it only where they document a clinical reason it is right for you specifically.
Tirzepatide engages two receptors — GLP-1 and GIP — where semaglutide engages one. Both are hormones your gut releases in response to food, and both feed into appetite regulation and insulin response. Whether the dual mechanism is the right choice for you is a clinical judgment your provider makes; it is not automatically the better option.

- Type 1 diabetes, gastroparesis, or an active eating disorder without in-person care

Important safety information
Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation and reduced appetite are common, typically clustering after dose increases. Serious but uncommon risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder disease and kidney injury from dehydration. Full information is provided before you're prescribed anything.

Will I definitely be prescribed this?
No — a consultation does not guarantee a prescription. A licensed provider reviews your health history and prescribes only if it's appropriate and safe for you, and since the shortage ended a compounding pharmacy may prepare tirzepatide for you only where the prescriber documents a clinical reason it is right for you specifically. If that isn't the case, we'll tell you why and the medication portion of your payment is refunded.
Is anything added to the tirzepatide?
It depends on the supply, the dose and your state, because the pharmacy that fills it differs. The 12-week supply has pyridoxine (vitamin B6) added, in every state. The 4-week supply is tirzepatide alone except in Arkansas, California, Hawaii, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and Minnesota, where it has vitamin B6 added — apart from Strength 4 in California, Hawaii, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts and Michigan, which has glycine and vitamin B12 added instead. The pharmacy label lists exactly what you receive.
Is tirzepatide better than semaglutide?
We won't answer that on a marketing page. They act on different numbers of pathways, they suit different people, and the comparison depends on your health history. That's a conversation with your provider.
